EBPF Test Series
The English Blackball Pool Federation hosted a Test Match Series on 28th & 29th October 2011 in Chorlton, Manchester.There were teams from South Africa, England and Rest of Europe attending in the divisions of Mens, Ladies, Seniors, U23's and U18's.
It was a great spectacle of pool and played in an extremely friendly atmosphere which everyone enjoyed immensely.

A bid was accepted to host this years European Championships in Tullow, Ireland.
The venue is a Hotel, SPA and Country Club in the countryside. They have 143 bedrooms and 60 lodges which are like 4 bedroom houses.
They have a Championship Golf Course which will also be heavily discounted and all players will get use of Gym and swimming pool, only thing you need to pay for are any beauty treatments.

Costs will be €35 per person per night which includes breakfast and based on 2 people sharing. The Lodges are €35 per person per night self catering based on 6 sharing, but they could accommodate up to 8 and you only pay for 6.
There will be the usual food available but if you want a bit more they have a 3 course meal for €26.
There will be bus transfers organised from Dublin airport and anyone wishing to organise a bus transfer should contact Paddy Murphy by email on
Its located about an hours drive from Dublin.

EBA European Masters 2011
The EBA European Masters are held in Bridlington from Wednesday April 21st until Friday 29th.
The Youth and Juniors start on the Wednesday and finish on the Friday with the Adults starting on Sunday 24th April and LD's starting on Wednesday 27th.

EBA Open
There will be an EBA Open held at Bridlington on Saturday 23rd April starting at 2pm. Entry is £25 per person with all money paid out in prizemoney.
Restricted to 96 entries and all matches will be best of 11 frames.
As this is replacing the cancelled EBA IM the entries Scotland and England guaranteed before the deadline will be entered directly into the last 64.
Enter the event via Trevor Harte and if event is not full beforehand then entries will be taken on the day.

Playing dates are going to be finalised in the next couple of weeks and will start at some point in September. But events will be staggered so all the teams wont be in attendance for a full week etc.

EBA IM
On Saturday 23rd April 2011 in Bridlington there will be the finals of the very first EBA IM event where 64 players who qualified in their own country to earn a place in the finals.
Entry will be £25.
You enter thru your own countries member association and once the entries have been finalised each country will be allocated x amount of spaces based on a pro-rata. So the larger the entry you take the more places at the finals your country will receive.
Entry deadline will be 13th February.
